Mode of Action	Diquat dibromide is Non-selective contact herbicide, slightly conductive. After being absorbed by green plants, it inhibits the electron transfer of photosynthesis. Under the induction of light, the bipyridine compound in the reduced state is quickly oxidized in the presence of oxygen to form active hydrogen peroxide. The accumulation of this substance destroys the plant cell membrane and is affected by Yellowing of the medicine part.

Application
Diquat is generally used as a conductive contact-kill herbicide. It can be quickly absorbed by green plant tissues and loses activity quickly after contact with soil. Used for weeding in fields, orchards, non-arable land, and before harvest.
Quick effect: Diquat kills weeds quickly and takes effect on the same day. It starts to die within 24 hours. It rains 1 hour after spraying and has little effect on the effectiveness of the drug.
Good safety, water and soil conservation: Although diquat has certain systemic properties, it will not damage the root system of crops and is mainly contact-killing. Therefore, diquat has the characteristics of safety, no residue, and no drift hazard. Since enemy grass does not kill the roots, it is conducive to water and soil conservation, and the field ridges are not easy to collapse.
Special effects on broadleaf grass: Diquat has better control effect on certain resistant weeds, especially broadleaf weeds.
Low temperature resistance: When the temperature is lower than 15ºC, the weeding effect is more advantageous.
