Physical and Chemical Properties	Appearance: a yellow to reddish-brown liquid at 30°C, and a slightly sweet solid solution at 20°C Melting Point: 36 °C Density 1.215 g/cm3 (20 °C), Solubility: Solubility in water 1.1 (pH3.5), 2.8 (pH4.9), 10.2 (pH5.5), 21.1 (pH8.2) (g/l, 25 °C ). 100% miscible with ethanol, acetone, toluene, n-octanol, 5% in n-hexane (25ºC)
Toxicity	Trexapac-ethyl is a low toxicity pesticide, its acute oral toxicity LD50>2000 mg/kg in rats, acute dermal toxicity LD50>4000 mg/kg in rats, inhalation toxicity LC50(48 h) in rats >5.69 mg/L, Slightly irritating to rabbit skin, moderately irritating to eyes, non-sensitizing to guinea pig skin, ADI/RfD(EC) 0.32 mg/kg bw [2006]. Low toxicity to birds, fish, fleas, algae, bees, earthworms and other environmental organisms.
Application	The external performance is to inhibit internode elongation, reduce plant height, increase stem thickness and stem wall thickness, promote root development and secondary root growth and elongation, so that crops grow stronger and play a role in resisting lodging. It is rapidly absorbed and conducted by plant stems and leaves, and is widely used in cereals (wheat, etc.), winter rapeseed and lawns.
