Mechanism	Known as anti-auxin. It hinders the top-down polar transport of auxin in plants, is easily absorbed by plants, can be transported in stems, and affects the growth and development of plants. Inhibit the growth of the top of the plant, make the plant dwarf, and promote the growth of side buds and tillers. High concentration inhibits growth and can be used to prevent soybean lodging; low concentration promotes rooting; at appropriate concentration, it has the effect of promoting flowering and inducing flower bud formation.
Application on Soybean	Soybean is used for soybean lodging resistance. Use 45~75 grams of 2,3,5-Triiodobenzoic acid 98% per hectare at the initial flowering or full flowering stage of soybeans, and the use concentration is 100~200 mg/kg. The amount of liquid medicine used per hectare is 525 to 1500 kg. Foliar spraying can make the stalks thick, prevent lodging, promote flowering, increase yield, and improve quality. When the soil is fertile and soybeans are growing vigorously, the effect is better; if the soil is poor and soybeans are not growing well, it is not suitable for application. It can also be sprayed with a low-concentration (15 mg/kg) triiodobenzoic acid solution on the surface of two compound leaves and 5-6 compound leaves before the soybean blooms, and then treated twice. It can increase the number of flowering and seed yield, and reduce plant growth.
Other Application	1.Use 100 mg/kg triiodobenzoic acid solution for edamame and spray it during the flowering period of vegetable edamame to prevent overgrowth, increase branching, and increase the number of pods. 2.When peanuts are in full bloom, spray with 200 mg/kg triiodobenzoic acid solution to improve the quality of peanuts. 3.During the budding stage of potato, spraying with 100 mg/kg triiodobenzoic acid solution on the leaf surface can increase the yield of potato tubers. During the budding stage of sweet potato, spray with 150 mg/kg triiodobenzoic acid solution on the leaf surface, which can inhibit the lengthening of the above-ground part and promote the growth of roots. 4.In the vigorous growth period of mulberry trees, spray the leaves with 300 mg/kg triiodobenzoic acid solution for 1 to 2 times, which can promote the growth of side branches and increase the number of leaves. 5.Woody ornamental plant triiodobenzoic acid can inhibit the vigorous growth of woody ornamental plants, promote the growth of side branches, and improve plant shape.
Precautions (Dissolution method)	Triiodobenzoic acid is insoluble in water. When using, first dissolve 1 gram of the agent in 100 ml of ethanol.
