6-KT is a purine-like natural plant endogenous hormone. It is also the first cytokinin discovered by humans and can be synthesized artificially.
6-KT can promote cell division and tissue differentiation; induce bud differentiation and relieve apical dominance; delay protein and chlorophyll degradation, preserving freshness and preventing aging; delaying the formation of abscission layer, increasing fruit setting, etc. It has been applied research and used in many aspects. This agent is mainly used for tissue culture. It works with auxin to promote cell division and induce callus and tissue differentiation.
