Mode of Action	The mechanism of action of thiabendazole is to inhibit the respiration and cell reproduction of fungal mitochondria, and it has positive cross-resistance with benomyl and other benzimidazoles. It has a systemic conduction effect. It can conduct to the top when applied at the roots, but not to the base. Antibacterial activity is limited to Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes and Deuteromycetes, and is inactive against Oomycetes and Zygomycetes.
