Mode of Action |
Sulfometuron-Methyl is a sulfonylurea herbicide. By inhibiting the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids, it inhibits cell division at the growing end of the plant and prevents weeds from growing to chlorosis and necrosis. This product is a pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicide, suitable for controlling annual and perennial gramineous weeds and broad-leaved weeds in forest trees. |

Wide herbicidal spectrum: Sulfometuron-Methyl is particularly strong in killing, and it has a strong killing effect on all weeds such as monocotyledonous weeds, dicotyledonous weeds, vines, shrubs, and trees.
Strong systemic conductivity: Sulfometuron-Methyl has strong systemic conductivity. After application, it is absorbed by the stems and leaves of weeds, and is transmitted to all parts of the weeds through the xylem and phloem, inhibiting the synthesis of amino acids in the weeds, preventing cell division, and killing the weeds.
Long-lasting effect: Sulfometuron-Methyl mainly kills weeds by inhibiting the cell division of weeds after being absorbed by stems and leaves. Weeding is more thorough, and the duration of effect is longer, generally the duration of effect can reach 3 to 6 months. It is 8 to 10 times more effective than other herbicides.
