Indole-3-butyric acid potassium salt (IBA-K) is a root-promoting plant growth regulator. It induces crops to form adventitious roots. Through foliar spraying, root dipping, etc., it is transmitted from leaves and seeds to the plant body, and concentrated in the growth point, promoting cell division, inducing the formation of adventitious roots, which are manifested as many roots, straight roots, thick roots, and many root hairs. It is easily soluble in water and has higher activity than indoleacetic acid. It will slowly decompose under strong light and store under shading conditions. The molecular structure is stable.
